Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Hue, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use Hue on iOS, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies where required. If you do not agree, do not use Hue.
2. Eligibility
Hue is intended for users age 13 and older (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). By using Hue, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity under your account. You agree not to share your account in a way that violates these Terms.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds
Premium Access
Some features require an active subscription.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play (as applicable) and may be managed via RevenueCat for entitlement status. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time in your Apple/Google subscription settings. Cancellation applies at the end of the current paid period.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the platform provider (Apple or Google), subject to their policies.
5. Health and AI Disclaimer
Hue may provide AI-generated insights, summaries, or supportive text (e.g., Lore Drops / Huey messages). These outputs may be imperfect and are for general wellbeing reflection only.
Hue is not a medical, psychiatric, or crisis service and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or emergency response. If you may be in danger or crisis, call emergency services immediately.
6. User Content and License
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as mood logs, notes, tags, and place labels). You grant Hue a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve Hue.
You are responsible for content you submit and must have rights to share it.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use Hue for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity;
- attempt to identify, track, or de-anonymize other users from community features;
- interfere with app security, integrity, or normal operation;
- reverse engineer or misuse the service beyond applicable law.
8. Community Features and Moderation
Community map data is shown in aggregated form for opted-in users. We may remove content, limit features, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create safety risk.
9. Termination
You may stop using Hue at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or where required by law.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hue is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hue will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our total liability for claims arising from Hue will not exceed the amount you paid for Hue in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of our principal place of business, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of Hue after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
